Our client is one of the most modern soft fruit packing stations in the whole of Europe. This is because they are equipped with ultra-modern sorting and packaging machines and large cold storage cells. With the short packaging turnaround time, they ensure the soft fruit has a longer shelf life and good quality. You will be working for an innovative player in the fresh produce sector that focuses on packaging and distributing fresh fruit and vegetables. The company pays a great deal of attention to quality, food safety and a healthy working culture. You work daily with fresh and healthy products and contribute to food safety in the Netherlands and beyond.
As a Quality Inspector, you are responsible for the quality control of incoming and produced batches of fruit and vegetables. You carry out inspections, take samples and ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards according to customer specifications. You check labels, temperature and CO2 values, and supervise the KCB inspection.
- Inspecting and sampling delivered batches of fruit
- Carrying out checks on incoming products; including reading temperature and CO2 measurements
- Inspecting incoming goods for correct labelling
- Independently carrying out inspections and informing various parties about the findings of the inspections
- Maintaining contact with the KCB and supervising inspections
