About this job
Are you socially strong? Do you know how to motivate others to get to work? And does being the first point of contact on location sound great to you? Then start as a working foreman in landscaping in the Venlo region.
For one of our clients, we are looking for a working foreman in landscaping. In this role, you are responsible for directing and supervising a great team of at least 2 assistant gardeners. Together with your team, you go out to ensure that your maintenance district looks absolutely top-notch. You direct your team and make sure the work is carried out correctly. Together, you make sure the grass is truly greener. In addition to executing the assignments you receive, you are also alert to areas that need maintenance. You raise these observations during consultations with the district manager, so that action can be taken. Once a job is finished, you report to the site supervisor. Good communication skills are therefore important, both towards your colleagues and towards supervisors.
In addition, you're always ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work yourself, whether that's picking up the brush cutter, working with the hedge trimmer, or getting started with a hoe. You lead by setting a good example. Seeing the immediate results of your work is what makes you feel good.
