About this job

Do you enjoy contributing to a clean living environment? Do you think it's important that people can live in a clean home, employees can work in a clean office building, and the volleyball team can play sports in a clean sports hall? And do you always work according to safety requirements? Then the role of Skilled Asbestos Remover is the job for you!

Our client is a contracting company that is skilled in all areas. In one street they build the most beautiful new buildings, and in the next they take care of the maintenance of existing buildings. The aim in all their projects is to carry them out sustainably and innovatively. This means our client keeps developing. They do this mainly with their own staff, but where real specialization is needed, they bring in the right people. One of their own areas of expertise is asbestos removal and remediation.

“In this role, you'll work at a wide variety of locations; from homes to office buildings to industrial environments, wherever the asbestos takes you.”

To strengthen this team, they are looking for a skilled asbestos remover.

Together with your colleagues, you arrive on site and get to work. Where necessary, you naturally start by setting up containment and the required negative pressure installations. After that, you put on the necessary protective clothing and respiratory protection. Based on work plans and risk assessments, you remove asbestos-containing materials and ensure they are disposed of correctly. Throughout the project, you naturally work according to safety measures and applicable laws and regulations. If you notice an unsafe situation, you don't hesitate to report it to the DTA. You accurately fill in work and registration forms, and at the end of the project, you carry out a final cleaning. It's important that you communicate well and work well within a team, and on some projects, with supervisors and possibly external parties. You also know how to properly communicate any suggestions for improving safety or work processes.
