Our client is a contracting company that is skilled in all areas. In one street they build the most beautiful new buildings, and in the next they take care of the maintenance of existing buildings. The aim in all their projects is to carry them out sustainably and innovatively. This means our client keeps developing. They do this mainly with their own staff, but where real specialization is needed, they bring in the right people. One of their own areas of expertise is asbestos removal and remediation.

To strengthen this team, they are looking for a skilled asbestos remover.
Together with your colleagues, you arrive on site and get to work. Where necessary, you naturally start by setting up containment and the required negative pressure installations. After that, you put on the necessary protective clothing and respiratory protection. Based on work plans and risk assessments, you remove asbestos-containing materials and ensure they are disposed of correctly. Throughout the project, you naturally work according to safety measures and applicable laws and regulations. If you notice an unsafe situation, you don't hesitate to report it to the DTA. You accurately fill in work and registration forms, and at the end of the project, you carry out a final cleaning. It's important that you communicate well and work well within a team, and on some projects, with supervisors and possibly external parties. You also know how to properly communicate any suggestions for improving safety or work processes.
- Removing asbestos-containing materials according to safety requirements
- You set up containment and negative pressure installations, use them correctly, and dismantle them again
- You identify and report unsafe situations and work with the correct PPE
- Ensuring proper waste packaging and disposal
- You carry out a final cleaning and prepare for clearance measurements
